Where it all started
IMpower Wellness was born out of necessity. The medspa industry needed a welcoming space where individuals, no matter their background, could feel free to exist and share their vulnerabilities without fear of judgement or pushy sales tactics. We use evidence based medicine to guide our treatment plans for our clients.
So, we created that space ourselves! Beginning as a small one-woman operation, IMpower Wellness quickly snowballed into larger spaces, bigger teams, and an ever-growing community of lovely clientele in and around the Elora area. We work hard, we play hard, and we’re committed to providing a space where everyone feels IMportant and welcome to prioritize their health, beauty, and confidence.

With 15 years of experience in the field of aesthetics, Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and skill to the team. Over the course of her career, she has mastered a wide range of treatments and techniques, always staying current with the latest advancements in skincare. While she is highly talented in all aspects of aesthetics, Sarah has a special love for microneedling, which she considers one of the most effective ways to restore and rejuvenate the skin.

Joining the team with 15 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Julia brings both a wealth of medical knowledge and a compassionate approach to patient care. Her career began in the fast-paced world of emergency medicine, and over the years she has gained valuable experience in rural nursing, primary care, labor and delivery, and most recently, secondary stroke prevention.
This diverse background has given Julia a well-rounded understanding of patient needs across many stages of life and healthcare settings. Now, she is excited to bring her clinical expertise into the field of medical aesthetics. Passionate about helping individuals feel more confident, Julia is dedicated to enhancing natural beauty in a way that allows clients to feel radiant both inside and out.

With 11 years as a master colourist and educator across Canada, she’s honed her passion for enhancing natural beauty. Currently, she’s completing her studies at Gina’s College and balancing books with downward-facing dogs as a certified yoga instructor. When not glowing up faces or bending into warrior II, you’ll find her whipping up a culinary masterpiece, hiking with her furry sidekick, or cherishing time with her teenage son and loved ones.
